Fine Art | Rui Xu
East fused with West
Having enjoyed significant success as a multiple award winning talent, originally as an author and then as a fashion designer, Rui Xu now forges a new chapter in fine art.
Schooled deeply in the disciplines of Chinese calligraphy and the precision of gongbi, Rui Xu has created a unique blend of art, leveraging her exposure to western practices during these last 15 years of living in Europe.
A full Fellow of the Royal Society of Art, Rui Xu’s art provides the viewer with a sustained feeling of contemplation, rather than a simple anecdotal experience.
A refreshing contrast to the enjoyment of art in this age of AI generated art.
